2024 Legislative Day 

On February 27, NAACP leaders from all over Indiana held our annual NAACP Legislative Day at the Indiana Statehouse. Newly elected NAACP state President Sadie Harper Scott motivated elected state and local leaders on the importance of supporting our communities. We heard from Manila Deskins, NAACP's National Director of Advocacy. State representatives discussed Senate Bill 202's impact on colleges and universities and we emphasized the importance of clean energy.
